High Oleic Crude Palm Oil

High Oleic Crude Palm Oil has been developed in South America. HOPO comes from a new crossbred palm between two species: Elaeis guineensis and 
Elaeis oleifera. Its main qualities are:

  • Oleic acid content > 54%

  • Saturated fatty acids < 31%

  • Iodine value > 68

  • Melting point 18-20° C

  • Low FFA % as crude

  • Slow Oxidation (Longer Shelf Life)

  • High content of Mono and Di unsaturated fatty acids

  • High level of Carotenes - Promote the Vitamin A activity

  • High level of Vitamin E
